The vessel belongs to CMA CGM and docked yesterday in Portonave, at the Itaja\u00ed Port Complex.<\/p>\n<p>SAAM Towage&#8217;s Country Manager in Brazil, Renata Ervilha, commented, \u201cThis operation marks a milestone and we are proud to have been part of this first-ever maneuver in the country. The vessel\u2019s arrival marks a precedent for future operations for customers with large ships.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>These maneuvers, now called \u201cItaja\u00edMax\u201d, are governed by a new rule at the port complex (known in Portuguese as Portaria 38), which establishes operating parameters that authorize turning and reverse entry\/exit for ships measuring up to 350 meters in length.<\/p>\n<p>SAAM Towage is a leader in the provision of towage services in the Americas.
