SAAM Towage Chile Country Manager Cristi\u00e1n Cifuentes explained that the vessels \u201cwere designed by Robert Allan Ltd., and built by Turkey\u2019s Sanmar Shipyards, and meet the requirements of the ports where we operate since they are compact and highly maneuverable. They are already operative and performing excellently, which is further enhanced by the quality of our captains and crews.\u201d<\/p>\n
At the event, the captain of the Mataquito II, Samuel Kroll, and engineer Juan Carlos Rojas received a gift to commemorate the occasion from the vessel\u2019s godmother, SAAM’s Deputy Investor Relations Manager, Paula Ravent\u00f3s.<\/p>\n
For the Halc\u00f3n III, welcoming remarks were given by Captain Nelson Cabrera; Engineer Braulio Campos, and the vessel’s godmother, Ver\u00f3nica Sarnatoro, Head of Real Estate Projects for SAAM.<\/p>\n
