Rio de Janeiro, April 10, 2025 SAAM Towage Brazil earned certification under ISO 14001:2015 standards for its towage operations. ISO 14001 is an international norm that sets standards for environmental management, seeking to ensure legal compliance and reduce environmental impacts.
It also recertified its Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, which establishes requirements for promoting continuous service improvement and customer satisfaction. The certified scope covers vessel berthing and deberthing services, towing and emergency assistance at all ports where SAAM operates in that country.
The Country Manager of SAAM Towage Brazil, Renata Ervilha, commented, “These achievements reinforce our commitment to deliver differentiated and excellent service, which includes environmentally safe operations and effective concern for preservation and sustainability.
