SAAM Towage Costa Rica was awarded one white and one silver star in the Climate Change category from the Blue Ecological Flag Program (Programa Bandera Azul Ecológica or PBAE). These accolades reflect the progress of our sustainability policy and its efforts to reduce the environmental impact of its processes.
The PBAE award encourages the formation of local committees, healthy competition, and community organizing to care for the environment, in order to benefit present and future generations. More than 5000 companies apply for this award’s different categories, which evaluates hygienic and environmental conditions in order to mitigate and adapt to climate change.
