Panama, September 2021. SAAM Towage Panama received the international certification ISO 9001: 2015, which validates the procedures and quality of its harbour towage services.
SAAM Towage’s Country Manager for Panama, Matia de Luiggi, explained that “this recognition demonstrates the significant effort we make to uphold high customer service standards, driven by the core value of excellence. In addition, it shows that the quality of our offering is part of our commitment to guaranteeing the best service at all our operations.”
The executive added that this certification, granted by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance Limited, was achieved thanks to continuous improvements and rigorous control of internal processes, which translated into a rise in customer satisfaction.
Steps taken included streamlining internal operating processes; performing objective, measurable internal evaluations and focusing on customer needs and employee safety.
