”In 2006 SAAM Towage was awarded the Concession Contract for the Management
of Public Tugboat Services in the Pacific of Costa Rica.
Since then, our fleet has been operating efficiently in three ports.

We operate in the ports of Caldera, Puntarenas, and Punta Morales, providing towage services along the Pacific Coast.

Harbour Towage

Berthing, unberthing and escort services for a diverse array of vessels and shipments.

Terminal Towage – Oil&Gas

Docking and undocking of tanker ships and assistance in transhipment operation. Escorting (direct/indirect) and diverse array of maritime services to onshore.

24/7 availability, we provide a quick and effective response in the event of emergencies such as: salvaging wrecked or grounded ships, stabilizing shipwrecks, evacuating crews, fire fighting (FiFi) and containing environmental damage from spills.
