Matarani, Peru. April 27, 2023. SAAM Towage Peru received the Green Ribbon Award from Terminal Internacional del Sur S.A. (Tisur) as the best towage company in 2022, for its work and operational efficiency at the Port of Matarani.
The award, which was established more than 10 years ago, is aimed at promoting efficiency, safety, regulations and environmental stewardship during operational activities for the benefit of the port community.
The Operations Manager of SAAM Towage Peru, Guillermo Burga, commented that “this achievement is thanks to the continuous and joint work between SAAM Towage and the crews of our tugs Taura and Skua I. It recognizes the entire company’s commitment to increasingly efficient and excellent operations at the Port of Matarani.”
SAAM Towage has been providing services to foreign trade in Peru since 2021 with a fleet of ten tugs at more than ten terminals in that country.
