What maritime services do we offer?

At SAAM Towage we offer ship berthing and unberthing services; specialized services for ships in off-shore terminals and positioning; anchoring of oil and gas platforms; assistance, rescue and towing; special services such as barge towing and civil works. What types of ships do we service?

With an experienced crew, we annually serve more than thirty-seven thousand ships of all types, such as: general cargo ships, reefer ships, gas carriers, oil tankers, Ro-Ro, container ships, etc

In cases of emergency assistance, how should I proceed?

We are available 24/7, we provide a quick and effective response in case of an emergency. You can send an email directly to or contact our commercial managers, their contact details are in the section “What we do“, “Our services” and “Special services“.

How to get in touch to request a quote?

You can send an email to or go to the “Contact” section, choose the country that needs the quote and look for the contact of the commercial manager of the country.

How do I apply for a vacancy?

Do you hire non-Canadian citizens?

Intern or cooperative positions

We create opportunities for people and indigenous peoples from local communities to become familiar with the work environment of a maritime company and gain work experience. We offer the opportunity to do an entry-level internship to 2-3 people per year, coming from the nations with which we currently have operations, including Metlakatla and Lax Kw’alaams First Nations, among others.

We also offer two internships or Coop positions per year (typically 4 months) to students at local educational facilities and within a variety of specialties including marketing, business and/or project-based areas.
